When Guns are Outlawed, Only Outlaws will Demand You Respect Their Cars

Despite the towns in this news report being named Berkley and Beverly Hills, and the behavior of this weird-looking cat seeming distinctly Californian, this all happened in Michigan.

Just one more weird Uber incident.

A tap on the window to let Uber driver Jacob Matthew Allemon know the couple was getting into his car was the beginning of the end according to the police report. Allemon told police he felt the tap on the window was disrespecting his car and drove the husband and wife for about a mile and then told them to get out of his car — pulling into a shopping center.

When the couple asked if they could wait in his car for another Uber driver —  it lead to an exchange and the 49-year-old rider was stabbed multiple times in the face, chest, and back.

The victim was able to disarm Allemon and restrain him until police arrived.

Allemon, 23, of Berkley has been charged with assault.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and treated for his wounds and released the next day.

Turns out, they weren’t the only riders to thik Allemon was a little… off.

Judgment Juice®? Colorado Crazy Weed? Idiopathic Psychotic break? Does the cause matter?

But hey, this guy can drive for Uber, while they’re firing the Florida guy who defended himself and his rider from a violent armed robber who was waving two guns.

Maybe Allemon will be fine if he gets help, and they can sort him into a diagnostic bin for which there’s a working treatment. Although we think his days driving for Uber are, well, uber and done with. Letting him back behind the wheel? What’s the uber/under on that?

Uber driver seems more and more a training position for disgruntled postal worker, with the ultimate aim of tower sniper.

I don’t have an MBA, but I think the emerging meme is likely to hurt their business model.

Good thing Uber prohibits riders using their app from carrying firearms or someone may have been hurt.

The same kind of meme has affected Catholic priests, veterans, SUVs, switchblade knives, handguns and assault weapons, et cetera, has affected Uber, but cab drivers are just as bad–or good.

You’re allowed to put “Attacked By Uber Driver” in a headline, you’re not allowed to put “Attacked By Arab” in a headline. (In the instant case, the madman is a Franco-American from rural Michigan, but that’s not the average case.)

The same applies to the other categories I named–“Priest” goes in a headline, “Gay” does not. “Veteran” goes in a headline, “Mexican” does not. (That’s one I provide a link for–in the nickname.)

When you see that someone has been run over by an SUV, check to see if the driver of the SUV has an immigration detainer and needed an interpreter for court.

You already know the story on switchblade knives, handguns and assault weapons–they just sit there in drawer or safe until someone picks them up and uses them. Then the headline will say “Man Arrested” in switchblade assault handgun assault, and you have a hell of a time figuring out what KIND of man. I’ve been following this for years.

This blog is so awake, it amazes me sometimes. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all! Keep your powder dry.

IDing perps by race, national origin, sex or sexual orientation, ETC. started in the deep South in the “Long Hot Summers” of the ’60s. The Civil Rights Era. Nothing has been the same since. There were good and bad lessons learned. Some of both good and bad are still being practiced. Not to mention a little “payback” from both sides. Old prejudices die HARD.
